The Sarchet Family

I’ve been doing this photography thing officially for something like 12 years now and I’ll fully admit, I still get a little nervous before most sessions, especially meeting new clients. So it’s always a special session doing pictures for people I know and love where I can leave all the jitters behind, like my own sister’s family. But an even more special session is one where I get pictures of my own family too. A big thank you to my very multi-talented sister who captured some great images of my own crew.

Alonso’s Senior Year . Union Colony

I’d like to say this session started out as smooth as usual, but in all reality that didn’t happen until our 2nd attempt. I wish it never happened but the reality is sometimes camera equipment and technology fail. And one of my fully charged batteries decided to quit working about 10 shots into Alonso’s session and though I usually have extras in the bag, they were sitting at home in the charger. Lesson learned. 🙂 So thankful for understanding and Alonso’s willingness to reschedule. Round 2 went off without a hitch! Thanks for being awesome Alonso!!
