Audrey Litfin Photography bio picture
  • Some randomness about me: I'm a farm girl at heart.....I dress for comfort first....I am horrible at cleaning up after myself....I love laughing hard....I get inspired by everything that surrounds me....I think my daughter's cry is adorable....I am a people pleaser....and I often start talking before my brain has everything thought out correctly.

When it comes to photography, I love capturing real images with real emotions. I tend to shy away from the overly posed prop images. I love seeing kids goofing, parents laughing, couples gushing and people just loving. To me, that is what makes an image help you relive a memory.

Thank you so much to Jen Graber Photography for the family picture!

PERSONALITY…

These 3 kiddos were hilarious.  Mom informed me that big sister had decided to cut her own bangs just one day before our big photo shoot.  I can totally remember doing the same thing before family photos at our church years and years and years ago.  The two boys were happy to oblige in posing for a quick shot as they ran up, down and all around.  Of course, that usually means that someone’s going to get hurt.  Though it wasn’t too bad, a splinter still stinks.  So when I asked him to show it to me, I didn’t realize which finger it was until too late…

(not something I would normally post but since he was only showing off his splinter, I couldn’t pass it up)

shannon - gorgeous!!! and that first one is so funny!

Jen - These are awesome Audrey! I love your processing! This location is great!

Michelle Kane - Your locations are fabulous. Adorable kids and love the color!!!

One Year Kendyl…

I’m a huge promotor of COLOR so when I saw Kendyl’s adorable outfits, I was super pumped!  Add in some bright red from a chair and we had plenty of color, even without any green on the trees yet.

Kendyl ran out of excitement to see me towards the end of the session so I had to work a little magic to get her to even look in my direction.  That magic was my blue heeler.  With a ball in one hand and my camera gripped in the other, I managed to direct Cody where I needed Kendyl to look….worked like a charm.:)  Might have to start bringing the dogs to every photo session (wink wink).:)

Enjoy!

Chilly Day, Sweet Family…

That chilly weather just has to keep lingering around!  I met up with this sweet family from out of town and though it was a little cold, Brody was a trooper.  He wasn’t too sure what he thought of me initially but after eating a little snow and keeping his two dinosaurs within grabbing distance, I convinced him to squeak out one smile for me.:)  Those shy kiddos always make me work for ‘em, gotta love a challenge!

It was wonderful meeting this family, hope they enjoy their pictures!

TFL!

Siblings…

These two siblings were full of energy and talk about entertaining, they had me laughing the whole time.  There’s just something about close siblings bringing out each other’s personalities, I love it!  Makes me really appreciate my brother and two sisters because we’re the same.  When we all get together, it’s chaos, energy, entertainment and laughter!!  I guess there’s just a comfort level there!

This family/kiddo session went smooth as butter!!

Thanks for stopping by!!
