Audrey Litfin Photography bio picture

Thanks for visiting!!!

I should've always known that natural light photography was going to be my true passion....but I didn't put 2 and 2 together until about 5 years ago.  I remember being in elementary school and staring out the panel of windows running across my 4th grade classroom thinking about how different the light was on an overcast day.  I remember how I was always obsessed with being outside, even if it just meant to absorb the sunshine.  I was always drawn to natural light, feeling a little depressed during the dark winter months when it was too cold to go outside.  And now that I'm all grown, I still oooh and aaaah over a great sunset.  I still love to stare at my husband's amazing eyes when the light hits perfectly.  I still get this emotional tingle in my heart when the light is just right and I feel at total peace.

For me, photography is not just about a picture.  It is about inspiration, beauty and pure emotion.  I want clients to feel that same tug at their heartstrings when they view their own images, that is what I strive for.  Because that feeling It is one of the best feelings ever!!

Bored is Good…

When things get a little slow, it’s always a good reminder that I need to put aside time to take pictures for myself.  I’ve been enjoying playing with my macro lens and bribing the dogs into letting me take pictures of them in a variety of different lighting.  They’re such good sports!  I don’t give them treats...

My Valentine…

I am not a big fan of Valentine’s Day.  Typically, every year Brad will ask if I want something.  My reply is always the same, “no.”  I can tell he has his doubts if I’m telling the truth but I can honestly say I am.  Maybe it’s because I already know he loves me, I...

Happy Friday!!

Happy Friday everyone!!  Just got a little time to throw the ball (okay, balls) with the dogs last night and tried to get a few shots that were in semi-focus.  My “mom” goggles are probably on for this but it’s sooooo typical Cody and Rudy in action. I hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend!  As...

My Beautiful Sister…

I had to post these as it is VERY rare that my sister lets me take pictures of her (aside from family shots).  She is always saying she doesn’t take good pictures which drives me crazy because she is gorgeous!!  She let me take a few pictures of just her while we were in the...

Noah the nephew…..yet again!!

The last pictures I posted were just some shots that I took while I was babysitting him one afternoon.  This weekend was his actual “shoot.”  It seems like every time we plan a session, we end up with a grumpy little boy or major allergies.  So I wasn’t surprised when I saw his watery eyes,...

Mini-Shoot….

I tend to do a lot of full-body shots when shooting couples.  I like to have them interacting.  So my sister’s previous engagement session was one of my all-time faves.  But of course, she needed a picture for the paper so we had a quick mini-shoot at my parent’s house to get a couple close-ups. ...

So good to see….

M & R again!!  I met Rhi 3 or 4 years ago.  She was my work study at my 8-5 job and we became good friends.  She’s just the kind of person that you can immediately feel comfortable around.  Not only that but we both had a similar passion for playing the same sports so...

Here she is….

Baby Sarai at 8 days old.  This is my first newborn this young and what a great time to photograph.  She was so good and really let me move her around.  I was nervous because she wouldn’t sleep for anything but even wide awake, she let me keep messing with her arms and head.  Whenever...
