Audrey Litfin Photography bio picture

Thanks for visiting!!!

I should've always known that natural light photography was going to be my true passion....but I didn't put 2 and 2 together until about 5 years ago.  I remember being in elementary school and staring out the panel of windows running across my 4th grade classroom thinking about how different the light was on an overcast day.  I remember how I was always obsessed with being outside, even if it just meant to absorb the sunshine.  I was always drawn to natural light, feeling a little depressed during the dark winter months when it was too cold to go outside.  And now that I'm all grown, I still oooh and aaaah over a great sunset.  I still love to stare at my husband's amazing eyes when the light hits perfectly.  I still get this emotional tingle in my heart when the light is just right and I feel at total peace.

For me, photography is not just about a picture.  It is about inspiration, beauty and pure emotion.  I want clients to feel that same tug at their heartstrings when they view their own images, that is what I strive for.  Because that feeling It is one of the best feelings ever!!

What a Fun Age…

This could be my new favorite age to photograph!!  I didn’t have to stress as much about him toppling over when I sat him up (compared to the 6 mo. age) and he was just so happy during the entire session.  Though I do enjoy studio, natural outdoor light is my favorite so I am...

Happy Freakin’ Monday…

No recent sessions to post so of course, I rely on “the boys” to pose for me.  They seem to reflect my emotions quite well.  Here it is, a dreary monday, trying to function back at work (the desk job) after 2 1/2 weeks off, crummy cold weather, and so on.   Oh, how I...

Special Session…

I felt very honored to take pictures for these two friends (and their children).  One of them has been fighting a battle with cancer.  She seemed like such a strong person, it was a very humbling experience for me. Thank you for asking me, it was an honor. Thanks to everyone who participated in my...

Brother and Sister…

Talk about adorable!!!  At just 7 weeks, baby Kaydence was just so chunky and 100% precious.  She was so mellow during the entire session and I just couldn’t get en0ugh of her.  Her big brother kept me laughing through most of the session.  He was full of questions: Do you have kids?  Where is your...
