Thanks for visiting!!!

I should've always known that natural light photography was going to be my true passion....but I didn't put 2 and 2 together until about 5 years ago.  I remember being in elementary school and staring out the panel of windows running across my 4th grade classroom thinking about how different the light was on an overcast day.  I remember how I was always obsessed with being outside, even if it just meant to absorb the sunshine.  I was always drawn to natural light, feeling a little depressed during the dark winter months when it was too cold to go outside.  And now that I'm all grown, I still oooh and aaaah over a great sunset.  I still love to stare at my husband's amazing eyes when the light hits perfectly.  I still get this emotional tingle in my heart when the light is just right and I feel at total peace.

For me, photography is not just about a picture.  It is about inspiration, beauty and pure emotion.  I want clients to feel that same tug at their heartstrings when they view their own images, that is what I strive for.  Because that feeling It is one of the best feelings ever!!

Pummers | Northern Colorado Photographer

I have to admit that I do get a little nervous when I’m around big groups of people and it was a little intimidating when I opened the door to that conference room and had all 27 people turn and look at me.  But this fun family was very welcoming and lots of fun.  You...

Smith Family… | Northern Colorado Photographer

The Smiths have officially increased by 2 feet since the last time I saw this adorable family.  With two energetic kiddos and a 2 1/2 month old baby, I’m sure that dad and mom are staying busy.   Man oh man, they are so adorable!  Seriously, could these kids be any cuter??? We had to...

Sweet Mom/Son Duo | Northern Colorado Photographer

I just could not get over how much this little guy reminded me of my own nephew.  His facial expressions, orneriness (hope that is a real word), and personality was just about identical to Noah.  It seems like lately, no matter where I go, I see constant reminders of my friends and family through other...

Adorable Fam…

Sister and brother were polar opposites.  Sis was outgoing, eager to try whatever pose I mentioned and having fun with it.  Little brother was much more concerned about where mom was and didn’t find me interesting in the least.  He made me work a little bit harder but I always enjoy the challenge!  Thanks for...

One Year Kendyl…

I’m a huge promotor of COLOR so when I saw Kendyl’s adorable outfits, I was super pumped!  Add in some bright red from a chair and we had plenty of color, even without any green on the trees yet.  Kendyl ran out of excitement to see me towards the end of the session so I...

Chilly Day, Sweet Family…

That chilly weather just has to keep lingering around!  I met up with this sweet family from out of town and though it was a little cold, Brody was a trooper.  He wasn’t too sure what he thought of me initially but after eating a little snow and keeping his two dinosaurs within grabbing distance,...

Siblings…

These two siblings were full of energy and talk about entertaining, they had me laughing the whole time.  There’s just something about close siblings bringing out each other’s personalities, I love it!  Makes me really appreciate my brother and two sisters because we’re the same.  When we all get together, it’s chaos, energy, entertainment and...

Brrrr….

It was a little more than just “chilly” but they braved the cold!  Lisa was in visiting her family from out of town and she wanted to get a few pictures while she was here.  Her parents (my old neighbors) weren’t as excited about taking pictures but I somehow managed to get them in a...
