Audrey Litfin Photography bio picture

Thanks for visiting!!!

I should've always known that natural light photography was going to be my true passion....but I didn't put 2 and 2 together until about 5 years ago.  I remember being in elementary school and staring out the panel of windows running across my 4th grade classroom thinking about how different the light was on an overcast day.  I remember how I was always obsessed with being outside, even if it just meant to absorb the sunshine.  I was always drawn to natural light, feeling a little depressed during the dark winter months when it was too cold to go outside.  And now that I'm all grown, I still oooh and aaaah over a great sunset.  I still love to stare at my husband's amazing eyes when the light hits perfectly.  I still get this emotional tingle in my heart when the light is just right and I feel at total peace.

For me, photography is not just about a picture.  It is about inspiration, beauty and pure emotion.  I want clients to feel that same tug at their heartstrings when they view their own images, that is what I strive for.  Because that feeling It is one of the best feelings ever!!

Taylor | Northern Colorado Senior Photographer

It’s hard to believe that Taylor can be a senior already!!  It doesn’t seem all that long ago that I met her mom.  She was just a youngster back then!  Just another reminder that I am rapidly approaching 30! And here she is, all grown up and absolutely beautiful!!  Thanks for stopping in, Audrey

Nicole | Northern Colorado Senior Photographer

We started out on their farm for this senior session.  The breeze wasn’t much but of course it was blowing in the wrong direction for her hair.  That’s how it always seems to work.   But it didn’t take long for the wind to slow down and we managed to finish up the rest of...

We met up at their house and found some really neat places to take her pictures.  Those farms are the best!!!  It was really cold and dark out but “S” braved the cold!!  By the end of the session, my fingers were numb.  And I was wearing a coat, I can’t imagine how cold she...

Man, I Feel Old….

Meet Robbie, a senior that I used to babysit back in the day!!  Now that’ll make a person feel old!  It really doesn’t feel like it has been that long ago since I worked at the vet clinic for his mom and would watch him and his sister.  But it must be because he doesn’t...

Miss “K”…

It’s been quite a while since I last saw Miss “K.”  In fact, I think she was in middle school and her mom had brought in pictures of her dressed up as Michael Jackson for Halloween.  She loves music!  So of course, it should be no surprise that she has definite ideas about what she’s...

Miss “M”

She was soooo excited to be taking her senior pictures that when I asked her for a serious face, she just couldn’t do it.  She had a “permasmile!!!”  Gotta love clients who are that happy to be getting their pictures taken, makes it a lot easier that way.   And she brought along her sweet...

Reece…

I was keeping a close eye on the storm clouds that looked like they were rolling in pretty fast while I waited for Reece and his dad to arrive.  I had a route in mind and was hoping that we’d get in a good amount of shots before the rain dumped on us.  So as...
