Audrey Litfin Photography bio picture

Thanks for visiting!!!

I should've always known that natural light photography was going to be my true passion....but I didn't put 2 and 2 together until about 5 years ago.  I remember being in elementary school and staring out the panel of windows running across my 4th grade classroom thinking about how different the light was on an overcast day.  I remember how I was always obsessed with being outside, even if it just meant to absorb the sunshine.  I was always drawn to natural light, feeling a little depressed during the dark winter months when it was too cold to go outside.  And now that I'm all grown, I still oooh and aaaah over a great sunset.  I still love to stare at my husband's amazing eyes when the light hits perfectly.  I still get this emotional tingle in my heart when the light is just right and I feel at total peace.

For me, photography is not just about a picture.  It is about inspiration, beauty and pure emotion.  I want clients to feel that same tug at their heartstrings when they view their own images, that is what I strive for.  Because that feeling It is one of the best feelings ever!!

Kylee turns 4 | Northern Colorado Child Photographer

She’s growing up fast and with that comes all that cuteness, chattering, questions, and attitude that a 4 year old can bring.  Kylee’s adorable little voice is enough to make anybody smile and I always have a good time taking pictures of her.  We had to take a small break to find the perfect sized...

Smith Family… | Northern Colorado Photographer

The Smiths have officially increased by 2 feet since the last time I saw this adorable family.  With two energetic kiddos and a 2 1/2 month old baby, I’m sure that dad and mom are staying busy.   Man oh man, they are so adorable!  Seriously, could these kids be any cuter??? We had to...

RyAnn is 1!!! | Northern Colorado Child Photographer

It is ridiculous how fast time goes and how quickly children change.  Seems like just a month ago, I was taking RyAnn’s newborn pictures!  Now here she is walking and chasing dogs and FULL of personality!  This session went much better than her last one where I think Perk and I were both exhausted from trying...

Calen & Drew… | Northern Colorado Photographer

The last time that I saw Calen, he was one of the shyest kiddos I’d ever met.  Imagine my surprise when Mr. Chatty McChatterson walked in the door!!!  Oh, we had such a good time and what a great big brother to adorable Drew.  It doesn’t always work well trying to get siblings in one...

Braeden…

It’s been about a year since I last saw Braeden and wow…has he changed!!  It’s always crazy to me how much they grow in such a short amount of time! Amazingly, I was able to divert his adorable blue eyes from the “choo choo” a few times…..enough to get a few shots in!!  I don’t know...

Tristan…

There are definite perks to taking pictures of kiddos that you’ve been around.  I knew the secret to stop the tears, and it wouldn’t be surprising to anyone else that knows his dad and mom.  So when the tears started, I ran back to the 4Runner and grabbed my volleyball….it was like I was Santa...

Noah…

He’s growing up so much!  We had our first real outing together, just the two of us!  We started out by heading to the store to pick out a fun shirt for pictures and pick out a special treat for after pictures (of course, he chose a ring pop).  Then we headed out to a...

PERSONALITY…

These 3 kiddos were hilarious.  Mom informed me that big sister had decided to cut her own bangs just one day before our big photo shoot.  I can totally remember doing the same thing before family photos at our church years and years and years ago.  The two boys were happy to oblige in posing...

One Year Kendyl…

I’m a huge promotor of COLOR so when I saw Kendyl’s adorable outfits, I was super pumped!  Add in some bright red from a chair and we had plenty of color, even without any green on the trees yet.  Kendyl ran out of excitement to see me towards the end of the session so I...

Chilly Day, Sweet Family…

That chilly weather just has to keep lingering around!  I met up with this sweet family from out of town and though it was a little cold, Brody was a trooper.  He wasn’t too sure what he thought of me initially but after eating a little snow and keeping his two dinosaurs within grabbing distance,...
